Hey ControlBooth, I am looking at doing a show with a backdrop, wings, and such made from a plastic. My minds first thought goes to Visqueen... Then comes the question -- can one paint visqueen?

You could be like show choirs and use fire extinguishers, it works kinda well, not for steam tho

I think it boils down to more than that, you need to bring people in to shows they do know in love, but make them really good so they want to see the other stuff you do, the stuff they haven't heard of -- I can open up a season with a kick butt version of Chicago, and the next show be Sarah...

It didn't happen to me, but a theatre I've worked at -- he was in the genie focusing lights (he wasn't bright enough to use the out riggers-) and leaned too far and the genie tipped, and he grabs the shakespeare and hangs there until the venues TD manages to get a ladder up there to get him...

Titanic the Musical...I found it rather difficult when I had to do it. Fun challenge though.

Hang some curtains, put a ficus in front of the window, and maybe paint a sky on a flat and add some shingles for roofs. :-)

if you want to get rid of it and donate it to the high school, give it to the band, they can use it to re-string marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, and other percussion instruments
