I never thought of this, that's good to know. I connect mine with two channels, but I never even thought that the adapter method of combining the signals would be harmful. So using an adapter to wire right and left positive together DOES damage the device, if slowly?

I hadn't thought of that. We want something a little more secure, because we're talking about moving nine linesets and then locking, but that's an intriguing idea, if nothing else for when we don't want a certain lineset moved accidentally during a show.

Same concept as what I thought of, and the important thing is that it would be CHEAP. Only $150 for the steel, and both myself and another on crew already have welders.

I wear a Timex Expedition with the nylon and leather strap, because I hate rubber watch bands. Yeah, they break after a year, but they're only $25 and have three different programmable alarms.
