    Yes, the strip is controlled over a signal called Serial Peripheral Interface, or SPI. Which of course is not even remotely similar to DMX in any way. So the E682 is essentially a converter box, which takes in ACN and converts it to SPI.

    Using the pixel mapping software provided by ETC is part of the plan. I just can't figure out if the E682 will communicate with Eos line. So the E682 is really nothing more than a power source and a signal converter for the LED's. All of the control would be performed by an EOS.

    Has anyone used SanDevices E682 with an ETC Ion/Gio/Eos? The device accepts Streaming ACN v1.31, and ETC Net 3 is based on ACN.I'm working on a design for a show and I'm looking at using a fairly large amount of digital LED strips.
