I've been reading posts here for a while, but thought I'd actually introduce myself!
I'm about to start my 2nd year teaching junior high and high school in a small school district Central TX. We have an up-and-coming arts program (especially theater and music) thanks to a supportive administration. Like any school, we don't have much money, but we have a lot of students and parents interested in the arts.
I teach band, choir, and now drama as well. I have no real background in tech theater, but have learned a lot this year and become the go-to guy for my campus (mostly from reading threads here!). We're hoping to upgrade some things - if we succeed, I'd love to share some of it! I may actually poke around for some advice, too.
