Basic Scene Programming on Optima Matrix 24 DMX

I can run each of my par cans individually using A & B configuration with no problem but can't figure out how to program and recall basic light scenes. The manual might as well be written in a foreign language because it explains how to program running light patterns, chases...everything except simple everyday scenes. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Honestly, I don't have experience with this board, so hopefully someone who does will come along, but from reading the manual myself, it looks like you will want to follow the section in the manual "programming running light patterns (scenes)" but skip step 6 so that you're essentially making a 1 step effect. I have no idea if this will work, but it's worth a shot. Good luck!
