Cleaning up metal shelving?

So, at my day job, we got some rather crappy shelves that are supposed to be for the front showroom. They have to hold some serious weight, so we got warehouse shelving. Unlike in the past when we've gotten these in, these were in terrible shape.

What's the best way to quickly clean these up and what should I paint these with to make them "presentable"?
 
Wire wheel on a grinder. Any enamel paint will work. Clean them well with a solvent before painting.
