Costume and Prop Construction??

so my teacher has told me i should go into costume and prop construction as my career instead of theatre management because im better at doing that. so what would the degree be that i would need and what colleges have good programs for that?

Texas Tech had / has a great theater program and a freind of mine graduated from there < under grad> Then wnt on to Tulane for Grad work. and is now a costumer in Hollywood. Properties construction and Costuming are two very different worlds, however. Any school with a decent Theater program is going to buy you time to figure out where you'd rather emphasize your studies. In your neck of the woods; SMU, SBU, Texas Tech, UT, Tulane, OU, OBU, and what's the one out in Amarillo ????? < don't go there it smells>
