Microphones Countryman E6 Sweating

We are using omni directional E6's and they are doing very well in our performance. However I have 1 performer that is a chronic sweater. On a 3show night he usually needs 3 mics. Either the sweat covers the element and gives that underwater sound, or it will seep into the mic and cable connection behind his ear.
Has anyone found a solution for this. Anything we try to place there like moleskin seems just to bulky. Is there a thinner something we could use to keep the moisture away from the element and connections?
Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
