A friend of mine just told me he was spec'd a Dataflash in a par 64 Can? Does this exist commercially or is this a DIY build?

The current Adams Family tour is carrying some and they are DIY builds.

I'm sure they help some with shaping, I never saw them on by themselves so it would be hard for me to judge how much they help with that. I think that having the parcan nose helped most with masking so the source of the strobes wasn't as visible.

Hmmm, then in theory you can gel it, as opposed to the color Atomic Strobes

Unless he already has an HES Dataflash or AF1000 (with optional reflector) to cannibalize, the Diversitronics Strobe Cannon is likely preferable, as it is significantly brighter.

He runs a shop, a LD has spec'd this for him to source, come to think of it I think I remember them in the Wicked Touring Rig, I should go look.
