Wireless FCC Auction of 600 band

I have recently been informed that the FCC auction of the 600-700 band is going to affect our Telex TR-800. How are others in this group dealing with this problem? We currently have 8 Sennheiser wireless transmitters tuned in the 500 band. Can we squeeze the wireless Telex into that space as well without running into interference?

The TV stations are taking the FCC to court over this, so the auction will get delayed. Even if the auction happens, any change to the use of the spectrum is a few years away because they can't move a bunch of TV stations out of the band overnight. Then there is the question of what channel to run wireless mics and intercom in. Nobody can answer that until the TV stations are done moving around. A channel that is vacant now may not be vacant when everything settles, and vacant channels will be rare commodities in some locations. If a new chunk of spectrum is provided for mics, then it'll take the manufacturers time to develop products for it. Start setting aside money for new wireless equipment now, to lessen the pain when the inevitable time finally comes.

Here is Shure's take on it. I haven't had time to listen to the webinar, so maybe someone could summarize for us.
