Help! dmx signal isn’t reaching fixtures. I’ve got it narrowed down to the interface which is set on default and won’t let me switch to dmx. Show opens Friday. Etc ion.

So no output from the console what so ever? Call Tech support. Everyone says they are great.

Has anything changed lately? That's always the first question.

I've heard of the license dongles inside coming loose. Tech support can guide you through it all.

You're in offline mode. See where it says "User 1 | Offline"?

If you're running Nomad on a computer, exit to the shell and then be sure to click "Primary" not "Offline". If you can't click primary you have a dongle issue, or you don't have an output device connected.

You might have missed the thread title of it being a problem with his/her Ion.

But Offline means no output.

Well, yes. Did miss the title.

Still "User 1 Offline" means Offline mode. Need to exit to shell and boot into Primary.

Check that your DMX cable(s) are still plugged in, that local DMX is enabled; or that your network cable is still plugged in, and the proper network protocol is enabled.

I'm assuming that what @RickR said is the case, and your dongle wiggled itself loose, otherwise booting in offline mode is something you'd have to do intentionally. Do exit to the shell, but if the primary option isn't there give ETC a call and they can talk you through removing the 600 screws necessary to get inside the ion and reseat the dongle.
