JBL DSP

I"m trying to find a model of dsps jbl has/had out (not sure on the model...).

About all I know is they are 2x6 (i/o) dsps, single RU, with 6 "mute" buttons on the front. The reason I can't get a model is the security cover on the top conveniently blocks the model number. It MAY (but may not...) have a RS232 jack on the back for computer control, and if it does, this is what I want to investigate. Wondering if I can load different "scenes" onto it in a matter of minutes, for quick strikes and such.

Anybody know of any of JBL's dsps?

Thanks

DSC260? Links to the spec sheet and manual are here, Active System Controllers. If that is it, I believe the serial port is for software/firmware updates but it does have a MIDI port that allows preset recall.

Some of the JBL dps's were made for them by BSS, they tend to be the older units, which have a control app will NOT run under win xp. the BSS dsp 355 was if I remember correctly one example. Some of these had 3 inputs and 5 outputs. might be worth looking at pictures of bss units and see if one of these is the unit I do not remember one that was 6 outputs

BSS Audio FDS-355 OMNIDRIVE
