Large clock kit

I need to build a 6' diameter clock that runs by itself with no external control. We're fully capable of designing our own from scratch if need be, but if there was some kind of large clock I could tear down or a build-your-own kit that would be preferable.
Budget is, as always, a consideration, but we are not particularly limited as labor to build from scratch would almost certainly be more than a prepackaged kit. There will be 120VAC run to the clock and there's plenty of space for power supplies so any power type can be accommodated.
Anyone got any bright ideas?

Can't you just take small clock guts and attach big hands to it?

Or if your hands are going to be pretty hefty you should go with a high torque clock kit.

Most of the DIY clock kits only take a AA so if you want to power it from 120v then that will be where the real work will come in.
