Hey Everyone,

So there's been lots of posts on here from LAVA Education as well as some about the Production branch I believe. Here's a video showing some of our shows from the past year. Feel free to post constructive criticism about the video and/or shows and I will make sure it gets passed to the appropriate person.

Lighting Audio Video Arts is an entirely student run production group at Arizona State University. LAVA Production provides production support to campus and community events. LAVA Education hosts classes and other educational opportunities for ASU students and the greater community.

And before anyone asks, the guy sitting on the truss was only about 4 feet high so no need for a harness. All of the show pics were from shows designed and run by the LAVA staff. Some of the gear and setup labor was provided through local production companies including Latest Craze Productions and Precise Corporate Staging.

How many people are part of your group? How do you educate people who want to join, or do you expect some prior experience? Do you do all of the lighting/sound for events? How does financing work for your rentals / outside companies? Are the events mostly student-organized?
