Got to see some interesting new products on Day 1.
The City Theatrical DMXcat-e is a lot more powerful. Biggest upgrade is an Ethernet port for sACN. Has a DMX 5 pin in and out, both for traditional DMX output and cable testing. Has a MIDI port and has a lot of new functions related to timecode.
It's significantly bigger box. CT says they will be offering a pouch separately.
Estimated price is @650.
When @Harrison Hohnholt recovers from LDI I'm sure he'll be able to provide more details.
The Martin MAC 1 has been a headturner at the show. More details on Monday.
Claypaky had a unique accessory that I'll try to get some video of.
Chauvet has a beautiful new Fresnel version of the Reve 3 that looks incredible.
@Ben Dickmann is showing off his Bolt 1C pixel strobe. Has a glass plate in front that has electronic variable frost. It was a mob scene around the fixture today, so I'll try to get video on Monday or Tuesday.
