Hello everybody,
Firstly I'd like to introduce a new lighting software development company: OpenClear Pty. Ltd., based in Sydney, Australia. Hello World!
Our first product - Clarity - is a PC-based lighting controller that has some unique concepts that aim to promote improvisation and boost creativity. Please check out our website www.openclear.com.au for more background about the company and the software - there's some detailed feature explanations and screenshots that should give a good indication of the direction we're heading in.
Right now, Clarity is entering it's alpha-test stage and we hope to involve a small number of lighting professionals to take part and help shape the application. There's more information on the website about the goal of alpha testing, but briefly we want to make sure that we've got the basics right and that the new features add maximum benefit. We're also very open to ideas and suggestions for the sort of features you find lacking in the control systems that you use and we're very keen to find new and innovative solutions to current problems.
