New member looking for odd products

Hi all. I am a graduate student in Scenic Design. I am looking for information about any new, exciting or odd products any of you have come across in the scene or prop shop. It could be a paint product, fabric, building material, machine. I'm sure many of you out there have some good stories about that one crazy show you did with tinfoil, or something like that. Any you would like to share would be appreciated!
