Software for hair/makeup/costumes?

Any suggestions on design software? We seem to have software for just about every other area of tech except this one.

Photoshop, illustrator, etc... same tools as any other digital rendering.

I'm just curious what might be out there - I glanced at this earlier: Fashion/Apparel Design Software | Design Clothes & Fashion Sketches

In particular, I would like something that might appeal to uninterested teenage boys forced to do costume design. I'm almost tempted to install a copy of Sims3.

Poser 3D Software - Official Website is a decent program though on the pricey side. I haven't used it in a few years but its earlier incarnations worked for costumes.
