Hi, I am currently working on a production of Snow White for my local children's theater. In our version the Queen has two transformations. I have an idea how I want to do this be need some advice. I'm building a 3'x8' section of wall that will have the Magic Mirror hanging on it. The mirror will be a two way thing, so first the Queen looks into the mirror and sees the image of the old lady she will transform into. This of course is played by another actor who will be behind the wall and visible in the mirror. Then I want a cloud of fog and lights dimming of course to mask the switch. I was thinking of just a blast of fog through a pipe or hose at the base of the wall. Are there any ways of creating more of a burst of fog. Obviously some kind of piro tech thing would be the way to go here, but do not have the budge nor safety requirments for such a thing. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
