We are a nonprofit group and we stream our management meetings to branch offices, etc. We have an Edirol V4 and some Canopus devices and are trying to get a camcorder and a VGA feed from a computer to all go to a Windows computer and from there to watershed.ustream. It isn't working. We have the Adobe flash encoder going and it seems to show the two sources merged through the Edirol and coming into the Windows machine but the watershed software does not seem to see the input.
Anyone have any ideas or is available for consulting on this?
The issue that first comes to mind is that you are mixing two different types of video signal. To verify that you are getting a clean mix, I would suggest connecting a monitor directly out of your V4 so that you can see what image is coming out (if one at all). If you can get a clean signal, then we can look at what type of settings that you have on watershed.
