turntable wall

Ok. here is the problem. We are building three turntables and putting a wall on each. We built the holy wood flat faced with luon and mounted it to the table deck. However, it is a bit floppy. I was wondering if anyone had a good idea for how to make it solid. The table is 3 layers of 3/4” Plywood sandwiched together. What we have right now were come big home made “L” brackets that stick out and up 3” and they are 3.5” wide.

Any ideas?

How tall are the walls? How wide are the revolves?

The way to do this super low profile (without welding) is to get yourself some "Uni-Strut" or "Super-Strut" or a similar product. It's like a full size erector kit. Run pieces of it up through the wall and bolt it to the deck with their angle brackets. Make sure you bolt angle brackets in both directions. You can get the strut at Home Depot, Lowes, or Grainger but you may need to special order the right mounting bracket. But this is going to cost you a few bucks.

If you can't afford strut then you need to think triangular bracing. Depending on how wide the wall is, 1x4 braces at each end should do it.
