Altman 3" Inkie to MR-16 source conversion

Been working on making some inkie’s into 12v smart track lights over the past few weeks. Easy to convert a 150w ETC lamp, socket and reflector carriage to that of a MR-16 cage to fit inside the Altman #100 3" Fresnel. Need some 1.1/2" 14ga steel box tubing cut to about an inch in length. Add to that a spreader plate of 16ga steel to jack it up for bench focus and light spill. Details than in mechanically getting it done.

Found that while the 60 degree 12v/50w MR-16 FNV halogen lamp worked best with the Fresnel lens, it still had a dark center spot as common to all filament MR-16 lamps. Normal 35 degree LED/MR-16 lamps of the same high output types were better in fixing that filament center loss of light, but didn’t have the beam spread seemingly needed to match the lens.

In a search today, only found two LED MR-16 from Halco with 60 degree beam spread which in concept would work. They were 2,7K in color temperature and 3,0 for that. Was hoping to find 5,0 in color temperature, or at least more options for brand. Interesting on them the 2,7K was higher output in that not as good for color temp.
Not a rush project as opposed to another project I have leaving on Thursday I started buying parts for today, or another leaving next month still in the R&D stage.

Main question is Halco the only lamp maker that has a FNV 50w/12v version of a LED lamp for 60 degree beam spread? This especially given they don’t have a daylight version of the lamp, and the incandescent 2,7K color temp. version of the lamp has more output than the halogen color temperature version.
Would think given normal LED tape lights are 120 degree that finding a MR-16 LED at 60 degree would be easier than finding a narrow beam for such a thing. Believe the 60 degree MR-16 LED lamp in a 3" Fresnel will be the solution. Than just need to compare output with that of the ETC lamp in two of them.... details. Will be ordering the Halco lamps in the morning, wondering if any other 60 degree MR-16 lamps on the market of the 8 Watt size?

Fun is often in converting radial Leko to A-Lamp, or box spot especially to MR-16. That much less Dyna Beam 3Kw incandescent followspot to CYX lamp or some Euro lights to American lamps. I love as part of career converting one lamp type to another.
