fluorescent dimmer modules

I'm currently working with a small theater to install a dimmer rack they received through a donation. Most of the modules are standard dual 2,400w rated for "inductive loads", but there are a handful 2,400w modules rated for "fluorescents".

So my question is:
1) Will the florescent modules work for dimming conventional tungsten instruments?
2) If so, is there any potential damage that this will cause the module or the lamps?

Thank you.

Looking at the linked product page, this is not a standard mains dimming module.
It provides undimmed power and a control signal, selectable as 0-10v or 0-120v.
The idea being that you connect it to fluorsecent dimmable ballasts or similar control devices.

I think you're out of luck wanting to use them for standard fixtures.
