Automated Fixtures Hog 1000 Effects

Hello everyone, this is my first post in the forum. I'm a lighting director at a local theater and we currently own a Echelon Hog 1000. Long story short I can't seem to figure out how to make customized effects for our Martin Mac 301's. I want to create new effects and not just use the effects already built in. If anyone has any information on this topic I will have much appreciation.

Short answer: you can't. You must create the custom effect on either a HogII desk or on Hog2PC, then transfer it to the 1000. This is one of the main limitations of the 500/1000.

Since you are on a Hog-500 you do not have the full FX engine available that Hog-2 had. Hog-500 and Hog-1000 were "crippled" as far as FX goes.

The only way around this is to load you show onto Hog-2PC....program your FX and then load the show back into your Hog-500.

Additionally I've attached a better LED profile for H2 based consoles than the one in the stock library.

Okay, I do have the HogPC software. What would I need to do on there to design the effect?
