jholmesIWG Member Mar 25, 2023 #1 Hello I’m wondering if anyone has a recommendation for an audio playback device that is networked, so it can accept UDP start/stop commands as well as be updated over network rather than through USB or other physical media. Thanks!

On the low end of the spectrum, you could do it with a headless Mac Mini and QLab. For somewhere in-between you could use a Q-SYS core.

jholmesIWG Member Mar 25, 2023 #3 Thanks Stereo output (2.1) is just fine for me. I’d love to know how a headless Mac Mini would work? Would you say the BinLoop or the Video Machine from Alcorn McBride is most cost effective?
