saving data from ma pc to usb

I am having trouble saving my show from Grand MA pc onto to a usb.
It seems to save a file, but is the wrong format, not every really using MA PC, and just the console, I haven't addressed this issue before. Am I just overlooking a setting?

How do you have your USB stick formatted?

The usb stick is just your everyday regular old usb stick. The console itself says that the file that is saved on the stick is not correct.

What does the message say exactly?

Does it pretty much save the file and then give you and error message about being corrupt?

Are you running vista?

If this is the case you have to make sure you are running MA PC in administration mode for it to save correctly.


I had the same problem a while back, only fix I could do is, link my MA pc to a grandma console, upload the show files through PC onto the console..and then save the show file through the console itself.

After a bit of tweaking I figured out it was a vista issue.
The fix for this was as you said to run MA PC as admin., as well as set vista to run as xp for that program. Then all the files have to be saved in a folder labeled "CompressedShows" in order for the board to recognize it. With that it now runs as it should, thanks for the help.
