Shure FX 2

I picked up a Shure FX 2 the other day because it was a really good deal. Anyway, I didn't do much research on it before buying it. When I was chatting with the seller, he told me he bought it when he worked at Shure and that it's never seen mass production. I haven't been able to find any info about it online. I was hoping someone here would know something about it.

If it never went into production, how would anyone know anything about it? Why don't you post some photos?

It looks like a pretty typical effects processor (reverbs, plates, rooms, chorus, etc.). Much like a Yamaha REV100. Studying the Rev100 manual would give you some insight as to how to use it. The market is well saturated with similar products, which is why this device didn't go into production.
