Looking for some info on the serial protocol controlling the vl500 IGBT dimmer from and to the MCB
TX and RX controlling lines ( J2 on the MCB )
I have reversed engineered the TX line to some extent and have a relay attached to a microcontroller
getting the serial from the MCB to controlling the tungsten bulb
seams to be working well so far (DMX value of over 126 = on, and below = off )
and also is it normal for the Cyan when fading in, to turn violet a bit before it turns blue
looks like a reflection off of the reflector ?
