Networking an LS9 with Two Computers

Just like the title says; anyone tried it? Is there any weirdness from two computers talking to the board at the same time?

Reason is mix position is on the balcony house left, designer's on the ground floor with a laptop running the LS9 editor, and I'd like an extra screen to multitask on.

...and I'd like an extra screen to multitask on.

It seems like you want to be editing with a computer at the board, while the Designer is editing in the orchestra?

Cannot be done.

The only way that two people can work off the same LS9 is if the wireless computer controls one layer and the board controls another. Think FOH mix and Monitors. Its impossible to sync two computers to the LS9 simultaneously.

NOW, that being said two computers can be editing the LS9, but only using Remote Desktop. But for what I think your original question is, it's not what your aiming for.

Or, have the Designer work offline and periodically sync it to his laptop and then sync back to yours. But I don't think that is what your looking for either.

Good Luck!

Thank you, that answered my question. I didn't think it could be done.
