    aRFR networking troubles.....

Switching routers, or switching firmwares I do not think is your issues, and I do not think that switching to DDWRT would solve anything especially seeing it is easy to brick a router if you are not careful and also if I am correct in your screenshot in the first post it says you have a wrt120n...

    aRFR networking troubles.....

I was just saying that sometimes routing 101 does not always happen and also that ETC does approve of doing it either way, so I was providing justification for the steps that I was having him perform above is all. But going back to the OP's issue you can do it the way with it being on the...

    aRFR networking troubles.....

Yes, the majority of people, it will basically keep the honest people honest. MAC address spoofing and a wireless sniffer can get around both of these things, I am just thinking very large scale to make sure that he is protected in all instances. ETC actually recommends it both ways. iRFR...

    aRFR networking troubles.....

I do not think so, unless NAT is off, the firewall is off, and you have created special IP routes I do not think the console is supposed to be plugged into the WAN port especially if the console is the DHCP server. Basically the wireless router is acting as an access point for the network not as...

    aRFR networking troubles.....

I don't think it is, that is just default values and to get it to work right out of the box without changing a bunch of settings that non-networking people would find difficult to configure they say that is the recommended to get it up and running. The DHCP server on the ION is also not a...

    aRFR networking troubles.....

Did you move the ION on the inside of the LAN like i suggested above? If so, when you connect a laptop on the inside of the LAN as well does it get an IP?

    aRFR networking troubles.....

So I do not know exactly how the networking works on this, but I do know computer networking. So if the Ion is plugged into the WAN port that is probably your problem. It should be plugged into the LAN port (local network) and not the WAN (wide area network). Think of it this way. If you have...

Someone has waay too much time on their hands.

The crazy thing is not the sheer amount of light and copper, but more the fact that of the time that he has put into the programming of this display. This is a less than automated process for anything that hasn't tried it, and this house can play different songs too! Pretty crazy!

Stage LED Lighting for Video Production

I have seen video guys be able to tune to the opposite refresh rate of the LED fixtures, so they are still flickering but just like the human eye, does not see this, the camera refreshes at a rate that it is not seen on the video.

    Crown XTI Output

I actually used this kit, Titan Horn Loaded Subwoofers, Titan 48 Kit | Speaker Hardware with the driver being the Delta 15lfa. I just wanted to see if I could actually build the thing first and how it performed with a cheap driver. Do you think I would see a notable difference with the...

    Crown XTI Output

Does anyone know of any other way to do this on an XTi rather than having the impedance ratings on the iTech's? Is that just for extreme precision, rather than using the ohm rating provided by the speaker manufacturer, or is does the ohm rating change enough to make a large difference during...

Yeah I could see that being an issue. Does anyone have any references to the NFPA code on using these materials for fog effects? Thanks!
