ok so, I buy the DMX-usb dongle, get some LED lights and a standing fixture to put them on, get the software. one thing i wonder though: what does the DMX end of the dongle plug into? the lights or a mixing board of some sort?

same concept i suppose but i was thinking more along the lines of:kinda like that, obviously not as expensive or elaborate, but generally the same concept. lighting I can put on timer to match up with the mood of that part of the song
