    Selecon 1200MSR Followspot Lux...?

Hi all, I've been trudging through Selecon's website, and I came across a rather interesting fact on their 'Performer' range of Followspots. Under the 2500w Performer, it has the following candela theoreticals: 8° - 504,700cd 10° - 520,200cd 14° – 323,400cd That seems fine enough, but...

    Multitrack Recording Order...?

Hello all, I'm in the early stages of prepping a multitrack recording for my big end of year project; and I'm wondering what order of tracks I should record. Now this would be simple enough normally (Drums first, then everything stacking up), however here's the fun part. For my project...

    Recording a Comms session?

Hey Guys, Thanks again for all the responses, they are greatly appreciated. The comms system is a 'Jands' Ezicom E-200. It's a two channel, 3-Pin XLR system, but beyond that, I can't tell you much about it. Does anyone know of this system or used it? It works fine for us, but if you add...

    Recording a Comms session?

Thanks for those quick replys guys, I'll check tomorrow what the model is - however as far as I know, it doesn't have a line out. And as for the headphone to rca/xlr; that's not a bad idea... Could probably make one with not much effort... Again, I'll let you know how it goes...

    OmniSistem Profile CDM PAR

Yeah I had a look at a couple of them a few months back; they're called "Merlin's" or something like that... I don't think they have any production value, I think they're more for commerical installations. Look funky though, don't they?

    A Little Introduction...

Good Evening All, Just thought I'd say hi, and give a little background information; as I've been posting a bit, but haven't really introduced myself:) I've been doing tech work since I was about 10, when I started getting involved at school (opped my first production at 12); and I've been...

What do you do when a director wants to be in the booth?

Exactly the same here. He always sits front row right next to the doors (I assume so if anything goes wrong he can madly rush out to yell at everyone); but you can always hear him over everyone else. On occasion we've set up a mic to try to put together a laugh-track of him.

    Spot Light too bright...

Are you sure you're using 10,000w fixtures?? Sure they aren't 1,000w?
