    How to program cues effectively

On top of that I always record my cues in increments of 5, so the first cue of the show is normally 5, then 10... then 15... then 20...And so on and so forth. That leaves me a lot of wiggle room in between cues.

    What Now? Inventory...

My thought is don't fix what ain't broke...Although with the addition of the LED's, it might be good to look into getting a small amount of constant power modules (Or more used D/D modules you can turn into constant power).

    Control/Dimming Control Techniques

I've envisioned voice recognition used in scenarios where an RFR would normally be used- woulden't replace a programmer, it's just another tool to get the job done.I feel a programmer's biggest asset is being able to hear the designer say "Hey take those lights over there and make them do...

    Control/Dimming Control Techniques

Re: Lighting Control FuturePerhaps initially you'll have to learn to speak like the board following a rigid structureAlthough with the exception of saying "first electric moving heads" (Which would probably be a group) each of your statements has the following lines "channels one through...

    Control/Dimming Control Techniques

Re: Lighting Control FutureI think a voice control is something that could be very interesting for a console. You'll still need a programmer for more advanced features on most consoles, but imagine a world where the designer just says "Channel 1 thru 5 at full, record cue one" and the console...

The D60's are very bright units, unless you need the extra throw I would suggest getting more of the D40's instead.

Control/Dimming Lost cues on ETC Ion! Anyone know a way to reverse?

Double tap the [Cue] key, near the bottom of the new tab that opens up you should see a list of your cuelists. To load one of those lists onto the main playback, type this [Cue]{y}[/][Enter]. Then press the [Load] keyChances are you recorded it as Cuelist 1, so press [Cue][1][/][Enter] Then...

    Selador Vivid-R or D60 Vivid

D40's is a great choice, sounds like you could use the extra versatility of having more instruments rather than the extra punch of the D60's.Thou I Agree with EBB, if snag a handful LED S4's with this order I think you'll be happier with the extra versatility.

    Basic Tracking Console Question

Yes you can update a run of cues out of order by using the softkey {Trace}. If you just normally update a cue, it'll update the change in that cue itself and track to thru to the next block. If you [Update]{Trace} then it will take the updated level and search back up the cuelist to where it...

    LED Scroller with an Ion

I'm a little confused... are you using a scroller on an LED Unit?If you're using the Chroma-Q Color Force cyc light, one option you have to is build the 1.5 cue to take the LED's to white, then take them too green. If you want a live move from Green to Red with LED units, you have to go...
