    Lowering Mic from upper deck

I was thinking of still using the wheel I have and attaching a small forward/reverse motor to it. You can detatch the locking mechanism on the wheel. Just have to come up with a design. I looked at the motorized cable. That would be great if I could find one used or even for free. Limited budget...

    Lowering Mic from upper deck

I have a Shure 55S (old boxing ring style) mic that I have on a pull down wheel mic cable I made . Using the housing for a retractable extension cord I removed the cord and replaced it with mic cable and mounted above the ceiling. I plugged the mic in and it hangs above the stage in the off...

    NSI 5600

Spoke with NSI again today and it is a flat $120.00 to fix. That includes return shipping. When looking at the pc board this particular dimmer is the version A series of the 5600. There is a relay that says 1992. The tech at NSI said they have been selling version C for ten years. He also said...

    2 fog machines 1 controller

Burned up my 2 foggers trying this even though they were the exact same model. I would NOT suggest it. Fortunately they were inexpensive foggers ($22.00) Never the less they did work for what I needed and now must be replaced. DO NOT TRY THIS.

    NSI 5600

martinty is correct. I am already running 8 packs daisy chained with 50 can lights and all are working perfectly. Just having problems with this one pack. My setup is a stage for a rock band. Usually when powering up my other NSI packs the power led and the four channel leds will all light. Once...

    NSI 5600

Cable good. Board is an NSI 7024. No DMX. It's something internal in the pack. Just wondering if anyone has experience with fixing these and could point me in the right direction. If not, anyone know of a good repair center? Thanks.

    NSI 5600

I've got an NSI DDS 5600 dimmer pack that powers on but gets nothing to the outlets. None of the channel indicator lights come on or the Microplex (green light) when plugged into the light board. All fuses checked good and have power to the coil and back out just not to the outlets. Any ideas...

    2 fog machines 1 controller

I have 2 fog machines (the small walmart type) that I would like to run off 1 controller. Does anyone know of a splitter or Y adapter that will work for this? They have the 3 pronged plug like on a computer power cable. Thanks for any help.

    Which one would you pick?

By substantially less what price are we talking and where are these units located. I've done some searching and can't find much Thanks again.

    Which one would you pick?

True. But the 7024 comes with the road case another $150.00/$200.00 dollar value and includes shipping costs. From what I've found online the Leprecon is DMX, capable of analog using a cinch jones connector. This would require a special cable to use with my NSI dimmer packs. The 7024 is already...

    Which one would you pick?

Len I understand that. You didn't answer my question. Thanks for your input.

    Which one would you pick?

Have two options. A Leprecon 1524 in great condition $500.00 or an NSI 7024 with road case also great condition $575.00. Which one would you pick. I'm leaning toward the Leprecon myself even though it has no road case. One other question will the Leprecon work with my NSI dimmer packs? Thanks

    Crossover settings

I see. So either one or the other. Got it. What about stereo 3-way? Still using either the MFX-1 horns or the 3020HT horn and tweeter. This would then allow me to use both outs on the board and EQ. Or what about another 3-way mono crossover and run each stack with it's own crossover? To me this...

    Crossover settings

I have the manual for the 3020HT. It has a full range in and then low, mid, and high in for triamping. Using the MFX-1 horns because in my opinion they sound better. I run the highs into the MFX-1 horn and then out of it into the high input on the 3020HT. Just started doing this as an...
