What i am doing is both video and audio recording of concerts in our school's theater. I am replacing a unreliable system with a simpler and more efficient system.

The only thing I see wrong with this is that since is a shower you want someone to be able to lock the door from the inside (without a key) to prevent someone from entering while they are showering/changing.

I'm assuming you go to a High School, if so first have a talk with your school administrators about said student, and see if there is a school policy regarding clubs and student involvement. (there most likely is) Also, does your school make every student sign a wavier when they join a club...

The way my school does it is a combination of calendars on our schools FirstClass software (this is to check out our laptops and projectors) and little slips of paper taped on the AV secretaries computer. It works but is not the best way.
