About Lightwright3

Why would your class want to use software that
a) was current in 2007, and
b) is no longer supported?

That being said, I had no problems with the link you supplied. Here are direct links from that page:
Macintosh Version 3t
Windows Version 3s

EDIT: Now I see. The page is okay, but both links return 404 errors. Looks like you're going to have to send a pleading email to [email protected] . Better have really good answers to a) & b) above.

Good luck, and please consider using the current version, LightWright6.

Does your teacher want people using Windows 95 computers ?. LW 6 has been out for many years, and is what needs to be taught. Its does all sorts of stuff better, like data interchange with Vectorworks amd with the ETC Eos consoles.

Uuuuummmmm...I say this with zero snark or sarcasm, but please find a better class. Your teacher is more interested in remaining comfortable and unchallenged than teaching you useful skills. If they're planning to teach you decade-old LW because "that's what they used", what other out-of-date information could they be teaching you? If they're not keeping up with something as easy as current software, it makes me nervous that they also aren't keeping up with things like current electrical code and safety practices. Doesn't matter if you're paying for the class or not, please remove yourself from it, lest you become ingrained with bad habits and/or information because your instructor has refused to keep up with the industry.

@peepee426 Is your teacher still using his abacus and teaching how best to trim the wicks on his whale oil foot lights??
Toodleoo!

That means there's a market for my hand-woven whale oil lamp wicks?
@TimMc Especially if they're woven from the, oh so, fine hair on a frog's back.
