Wireless 700 MHz LTE is Here

You may have heard Verizon's announcement the other day that their LTE network will launch on December 5. This network will take advantage of Verizon's holdings in the 700 MHz band--so that means that if you still have 700 MHz wireless mics, now would be a good time to get rid of them. There is a decent chance that 700 MHz modems could cause interference to the mics depending on what frequency they're on, and vice versa. Of course, some two-way public safety may also be operating in your area on 700 MHz, so the bottom line is that you should really be looking at wireless mics in and around 600 MHz.
