Hello,

I am an Actor / Director interersted in sharing advice on design and construction for Amateur/Community Theatre. Our theatre co (a non-for profit group) is believed to be the oldest continuing theatre group in Australia (over 80 years) and we perform high quality shows in an Art Deco Theatre that seats 1500 people in Newcastle, Australia (about 150km north of Sydney on the East coast). I would be keen to learn about the design and engineering requirements for turntables (revolving stages) of any form.

Welcome! Glad to have you here. You are in good company, as we have several other Australians here. Do a quick search for revolves and turntables. There has been much discussion on them this year alone. If you do not find what you are looking for, do not hesitate to post in the Scenery forum. Or, feel free to PM me.
