I found this site when I was in college. It's got decent descriptions of a few different mic rigs for theatre, with pictures. I've used the halo rig before, and we've all done the ear rig in one form or another. Some great alternatives to taping to the face when you have the time to build them. Only thing is most places don't like you coloring their capsules or the cables unless they're show-owned.
