I feel like I had to use something like THIS ONE at my last job when I used a dichroicgobo. I would put in a call (1-260-497-9191) or sendthem an email just to make sure.
I don't think so because I believe the gobo itself is too think to actually fit in the usual gobo slot on a S4. You will likely have to use the iris slot.
It's been a couple years though, so I may be mistaken.
The Apollo Superholder supports the use of metal, B/W, and full color gobos, so the Crushed Dichroic (if ordered in BR size) should fit without a hitch. This holder is used in the gobo slot or the iris slot, whichever suits your needs!
Carson, I've emailed a few questions this morning- please let me know how we can help figure this puzzle out!
Carson, I just went to the shop where we inventory the pattern holders after making them. The Superholder you're using should have a gobo capture ring with two different profiles, one side for steel, B/W glass and the other side for full color glass. Here is the stockimage on the Apollo website- you can see the machined profile of the ring.
