Refers to having every leg hung the same distance from centerline, as opposed to each opening getting progressively narrower moving upstage. Further, the term implies that the legs be parallel to the plaster line and not angled or L-shaped; and that the openings created are all of equal DS-US spacing.

Sometimes seen in dance companies' riders as "All legs must be ballet hung" or "All masking to be hung as ballet-style."

See the thread "Ballet Hung"? for discussion.
