Just got 2 of the new R2X beams, and am having a bit of trouble lamping them on. I'm using Hog4PC with wings, and both are acting the same out of the box. I have full control of the fixtures with hog, and lamp douse works every time. When I use the control menu to strike the lamps, neither fires. It seems like if I go into the lamp menu though, it then fires up. There is also a red LED that goes off when the display goes to sleep, and blinks when it is awake. I don't see any description of its function in the manual. Planning to try and contact Chauvet tomorrow, but wondered if anyone has any ideas?

So it depends on what settings you have the lamp settings at.
The blinking light generally tells you if DMX is at the fixture. So check your cables.
Check your DMX connections on the PC side.
Check your patch and make sure you have the right fixture profile loaded. If you haven’t updated your library do that and then repatch it.
That covers the majority of troubleshooting.
As always clean power is a must and I only say that because you didn’t mention it in your OP.
