Colored cables are ridiculous. If you need to color code cables do it with heat shrink on the male end or use Neutrik connectors with the colored boots. Neutrik also has a color ring with a flat part for a label if you need that feature. There are many options for keeping track of your cables, please do not make your stage look like Rainbow Bright defecated on it. No matter how cool and colorful you might think it is, it will still look like crap.
