I have been working an a spread sheet on the amount of energy my Lighting fixtures use.
ETC Source Four 575W/120V
Lamp life 300hrs/2000hrs
Cost of electricity: $.11 KWhr
Cost of electricity over the life of Lamp: $189.75
Lamp cost:$18.00
Number of Lamps at 50,000 hrs: 166.667/25.00
Lamp cost at 50,000hrs: $3,000.00/$450.00
Energy Cost compared to 50,000 hrs: $31,625.00
Total cost:$34,625.00/$32,075.00
but to get to 50,000hrs running approx 2hrs a day it would take many years.
I know there are different variables to think of, power output and Labor cost. I was just looking at raw electicity cost and Lamp cost.
