Another term for clip light, usually with either a blue gel taped to the front OR a blue bulb. The "Equity" part refers to AEA's requirements for safe illumination backstage for actors, but Equity lights make everyone's job backstage safer and easier (except for the person [sometimes the Propmaster, sometimes the Master Electrician] who has to install and maintain them).
