Short for Exposition Plug- part of an AC power distribution system for trade shows, A/V, and the construction industry. Possibly useful on small portable dimmer packs (such as 12x2.4kW) as well. Perhaps better known as "pin and sleeve" connectors. Two of the major brands are Hubbell, and Woodhead. Commonly available in sizes from 30A-100A.
