Expres 125 Floppy Drive

Hopefully one of the ETC guys will chime in but basically the floppy drive in my Express is done. Any way to replace the drive? I have some old floppy disk drives lying around..

While it is possible to replace the floppy disk drive in the field, it is not something that we would advise. The process requires you to remove the console facepanel from the "brick" and dissassembling the CPU assembly to access the drive. This is something that must be done in a static free environment with proper grounding (not something usually found outside of a repair department).

While the disassembly isn't hard, it is the reassembly that is the tricky part and usually where the problems can be traced to later. I would strongly recommend that you have us (ETC) or an authorized repair center do the repair for you.
