For Hire: Assistant for Lighting/Show Control/AV Effects Projects

Hi Everyone,

My name is Bill Rodriguez and I own and operate Dark Tech Effects (www.darktecheffects.com). We are a small company who specializes in show control, lighting, and audio visual effects for the themed attraction industry. We have a few large projects coming up this year and are interested in hiring an assistant or two for freelance work. This will be a 1099 employment on an as needed basis.

Job will require travel as projects will be at clients sites for installation and programming. Projects will take place from August - December in 2014. It would be great to meet someone face to face if possible but I would consider those who are not local to my area (Westchester County, NY). Skills I would be looking for (not necessary to know everything on this list):

Wiring, stripping, control boxes, electronics
Lighting knowledge (DMX, sACN, art-net, general theatrical equipment)
AC/DC voltage
Show control programming
Audio / Amplifier / Speaker installation
