I'm Derek Dumais. I'm a theatrical sound designer/engineer, occasional electrician and projection engineer. I currently work in Richmond, VA at Theatre IV and Barksdale Theatre.

Get to know the search function there's a ton of great information in the archives. Don't be shy, post! There are a lot of great young folks out there, who would love to get a little advice and guidance from someone like you. There is also a lot of great camaraderie around here for those working in the field. Do your theaters have websites? We are a nosy bunch and love to see what others are doing.
