Just thought I'd say hi - I'm a IT techie but our firm has just started to do conferences throughout the UK and am looking for advice?

welcome to CB, i would feel free to post any questions you have over anything you encounter. As they say the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask. Also before you get reamed out by some of our more "active" users, i would change your vocabulary to getting rid of the techie, and switch to either technician or Tech as many people going into theater are quite offended by this term. No harping intended just giving you a heads up so you don't get bombarded by these such users.

So anything you want to ask is pretty much okay here as long as it complies with the TOS.
